The ducks and geese travel in groups or clusters all winter.  Now that spring is almost here they are pairing up, getting ready to lay their eggs and start a new family.  Today was noisy on the Lake.  Canadian Geese are getting loud and boisterous.  They're staking out their territories, finding the place where they want to make a nest and lay their eggs.  Then when any other geese go past their invisible fenced off area they honk themselves silly.  To the best of my recollection it quiets down some after the eggs have hatched.
