Another family of 5!

The nest of 5-6 eggs turned out to be 5

I love this picture.  This little guy poked his head out from underneath his mother while there's still an egg behind him that still isn't hatched.

Another one of the little gosling poking his head out.  The mother's wing and feathers are kind of spread out, or ruffled, which made me think that there's still some hatching to be done.

A better shot of the mother's wing and feathers fluffed up.  Hiding her babies and allowing them room or a cooler temperature to hatch?

Just one day later and the eggs all have been hatched and the nest has been abandoned.

That is the cutest thing!!  That little fuzzball sticking out of the mom's feathers!
