I THINK there is a little more of the eggshell protruding today. I certainly hear more peeping going on. Trying to make sure it's going as well as it can, I did a little more research and stumbled across a comment that some ducks prefer to do all their hatching work in the dark. Makes sense, now that I think about how the mothers are either sitting on them or have them covered. So, I just tried to make a little window shade out of some 4x6 size post it note paper. Time will tell. Or, maybe our little duckling is just not ready yet. :)
I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my first little duckling.
